Ms. Airmene Settles-Obie , of Kansas City, Missouri, passed peacefully on July 10, 2023.  She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 6, 1953 to Mr. Darnell and Mrs. Gladys Settles.  Both parents preceded her in death.

Airmene moved to Kansas City, Missouri at a young age.  She graduated from Lincoln Senior High School.  After graduation, she worked for Sears and Roebuck.  She later worked for the Internal Revenue Service.  After years of dedication to the IRS, she retired.

One of her favorite past time hobbies was sewing.  She loved it and was very compassionate and good at it.

She leaves behind one son, Eugene Settles (Erania) of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandsons, Eugene Settles, Jr., Donzell Settles, Donta Settles; one great grandson, Privilege Settles; and a host of family and friends.
