Alegria was born January 2, 1971, in Kansas City, Kansas to the parents of Norman Charles Jr. and Christina Colding. She attended Raytown Schools and graduated in 1989. She received her High School Diploma in addition to receiving her Medical Assistant Degree. Alegria worked varies positions throughout her career.

Alegria grew to establish a relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age. Her love for the Lord was nurtured and developed at Christian Community Non Denominational Church in Kansas City, Mo under the leadership of Reverend Willie and Norma Hooker. Alegria was very active in church. She loved teaching Sunday School and leading the kids choir.

Alegria was extremely close with her family. She especially enjoyed Seafood Nights with the girls, play dates with her granddaughters and fishing with her brother. She was always down for a game of cards or dominoes, regardless if she ever won. Her son, daughter, grandchildren and fur babies were the center of her life.

Alegria was preceded in death by her father, maternal and paternal grandparents.
She leaves to love and cherish her memory: her son, Eric Mack Jr. (Brianna), daughter Alaysia Criss, parents Christina and Warren Bennett, siblings, Tamela (Tami) Ford ( Donald D Ford, II), Warren Bennett II ( LaTeka Bennett), Antonio Bennett, Ashli Bennett, Terrance Bennett; granddaughters Emani Mack and Emiah Mack, nephews Mario Cortez, Warren III and Nicolas; nieces Quierra (Baby Wilson), Arejeanna, Larren, Aeron, Monazia and Amyah; great nephews Areleno, Aidyn, and great niece Ayanna; Sandra Graves and the Charles Family; a host of relatives and friends who loved her very much.

Services for Ms. Colding will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at Lift Him Up Ministries Family Worship Center, 6940 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial immediately following at XII Gates Memorial Gardens, 9500 E Bannister Road, Kansas City, MO.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
