Allen Jackson, age 71, departed this life peacefully in his home on December 12, 2021.  He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to William Jack Jackson and Mary Ada Green and was proud to be a lifelong resident of Kansas City.

"Action", as Allen was affectionately known, was educated in the Kansas City Public Schools and received his GED. He worked for the Kansas City Public Works Department, retiring in 2011 after 20 years of service. Along with his lifelong commitment to his beloved city, Action had a passion for bowling, fishing, two-stepping, and music, especially reggae.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Margarett Jackson and Brenda Darden. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Ramona Jackson; seven sons Altavia Jackson, Damon Jackson, Lamar Lewis, Timothy Johnson, Johnny Price, Keven Glover, Jerry Glover; three daughters Rasheda (Stetton) Jefferson, Jamila Jackson, and Raci Walker; three sisters Rosemary Jackson, Shirley Robinson, and Josephine Hart, as well as 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, lifelong friend, Woody Brown, a host of beloved nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends.

Services for Mr. Allen were held 3:00 P.M. Friday, December 17, 2021, at E. S. Eley and Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc.  Private disposition.  Friends may call from 2:00 P. M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
