Anabel Rachelle Stewart Olivarez , known to many as Ana, was born on June 12, 2006, in Kansas City, Missouri, and spent her life in the city's Northeast Area. She died on December 2nd, 2024, at the age of 18, near the same neighborhood where she grew up.

Ana is survived by her mother, father, three brothers, one sister, and a close circle of friends.

She attended Gladstone Elementary, Lincoln College Prep Middle School, Northeast Middle School, and Guadalupe Centers Schools, where she dedicated herself to learning with remarkable discipline. A member of every honor society available to her, Ana consistently sought excellence. She was working toward a future in Accounting, and those who knew her could see her drive and focus guiding her toward her goals.

Those who spent time with Ana knew her kindness, insight, and deep capacity for empathy. She was a pacifist at heart, sensitive to the suffering of others, and willing to volunteer her time to help those in need. Over the years, she discovered a voice that was both expressive and contemplative. She produced writings that resonated emotionally, paintings made with a graceful touch, and even dresses designed by her.

Ana also developed a distinctive sense of humor, often dark, but never devoid of understanding. In her personal collections, especially her carefully chosen dice, she found symbols of chance, equality, and opportunity. In all these pursuits, Ana moved forward with sincerity, carrying a quiet but significant weight that only she fully understood.

At her request, Ana's ashes will be scattered at the place she held close in her final moments. Rather than focusing on how she died, she wished those who remember her to think about what she stood for: genuine care for others, compassionate understanding of emotional struggles, and the importance of seeing one another's worth.

Ana's voice, her creative work, and the heart she brought to all she did, will remain with those who knew her, encouraging them to live with a deeper kindness and an honest acknowledgment of life's complexities. May her memory inspire others to extend empathy, share understanding, and honor the truths that shaped her path.
