Angela Christine Jordan was born January 19, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri.  She is the fourth of 5 children born to Clayborne Ersery and Gladys Simmons.

Angela was educated in the Kansas City School District. She graduated from Lincoln High in 1982.  Later in life, she obtained a Medical Assistant degree.

She accepted Christ at a young age.  She became a long standing member of Maranatha Family Worship Center.  She was active as an Usher, Missionary, and Sunday School Teacher.  Being involved with her church was a big part of her lifelong passion of helping others.  She carried her passion of helping others into her work life as well.  Whether she was making sure the children got to school as a bus driver, educating those children as a teacher, managing the local store, or making sure you paid your taxes.  She was there to help!

God called Angela home on August 3 ^rd , 2020.  In Heaven, she meets both her parents, younger sister Sherilyn, and infant daughter Sierra.

She leaves behind 3 daughters; Dawn White, Alexis Currie (Charles), and Nadia Askar; 1 son, Yusef Askar; 7 grandchildren, Evonne, DeMario, Dawan, Don, Charles, Alijah, and Aaryan; 2 great grandchildren, Raymond and Amir; 2 sisters, Ivory Pearl (Sylvester) and Linda White; 1 brother, Christopher White (Kristien); a very special aunt, Gloria; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved dearly.

Services for Ms. Jordan will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday, August 14, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Private Disposition.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
