Angelyn I. Johnson was born May 16, 1957, to the union of Henry Johnson and Inez Williamson Johnson in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was an only child.  Both parents preceded her in death.

Angelyn united with Friendship Baptist Church at an early age and was a member of the Dan Sheepfold.  She served as a dedicated servant on the Usher Board.  She loved ushering at her church, bowling, music and playing dominoes.  Angelyn especially loved watching and attending the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals football and baseball games.

She returned home to Friendship on July 1, 2018, under the Pastorate of Rev. James A. Terrance, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Ms. Johnson were held Monday, May 2, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor James A Terrance, Jr. officiating.
