Anita B. Chavez, 88 years old, of Kansas City, MO, rejoicing to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 6:35 A.M. in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving husband, Fred Chavez, Sr. her children and over 100 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear family friends. Anita was born February 10, 1930, in Kansas City, MO to the parents of Pedro and Marianna Campos. She was the 11
th
child of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, 11 siblings, Phyllis, bill, George, Fechie, Lucille, Joe, Pete, Leonard, Tina, Delores and Eva; three children, John Frank "Frankie", Anthony 'Tony" and Teresa "Terri."
She enjoyed everyday life spending time with her family and friends, dancing, attending Bible study, going to the casino to gamble, playing bingo and doing her seek and find books. In her pass time you could always catch her eating junk food and candies. She also loved watching her game shows everyday alongside her husband.
Anita is survived by her husband of 7o years, Fred Chavez Sr.; sis children Fred Chavez, Jr., Cecilia Chavez, Christina Chavez (Johnnie Chavez), Mary Rodriguez, Robert Chavez and Ronald Chavez; over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Chavez will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2018, at Sheffield Family Life Center. Burial Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. At the church.
