With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Mae Johnson , a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 7, 1935. Anna built a beautiful life centered around family, love, and unwavering strength. She was the proud mother of 12 children. She was also a cherished grandmother to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Anna attended Dunbar High School in Kansas City, Kansas. This prepared her for the many jobs she worked at.

Anna was a devoted wife and lifelong partner of Vincent Johnson for fifty years. Together, they built a home and shared a deep bond, not only in marriage but as partners in every aspect of life. Their love and teamwork were the foundation of a family that remains strong because of her.

She accepted Christ at an early age. Anna loved the Lord and loved to praise Him.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Etheal Murrell and Mr. Otto Murrell; four sons, Milton Johnson, Carl Johnson, Donald Johnson, and William Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Vincent Johnson, her daughters, Vera Sexton, Flora Jean Johnson, her sons, Anthony Dwayne Johnson, and Walter Johnson.
