Anthony Ray Bryant was born July 12, 1962, in Westpoint, New York to the union of Martin Charles Bryant and Kay Frances Bryant.

Anthony , affectionately known as Tony, attended Ruskin High School and Job Corp. Tony was a fantastic Chef/Cook. Tony worked in various positions:  The United States Army, Chef, Corrections Officer for Leeds, and the Salvation Army.

Tony was an avid Chiefs fan and a cheerful giver. If he had a sandwich, he would generously share the other half. Tony was a fantastic singer, crooning out old school slow jams. Tony and a group of friends would often perform at local businesses that housed "singing contests."

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Martin C. Bryant; sister, Florencestine West; and brother-in-law, Dale Freeman Reese.

Tony is survived by his wife, Bessie Maria Bryant; one daughter, Kyra Bryant; grandchild, Kadynce Leilani Rose Chatman; mother, Mrs. Kay F. Bryant; siblings, Dr. Martin Alan Bryant, Edie Reese, and Rachel Kindle; five nephews, four nieces, and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
