Anthony "Tony" Maurice Bush, Sr. , a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, was born to Warren Crosby Bush and Doris Lorraine Bush on October 30, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, son, Anthony Bush, Jr.; and his nephew, Kevin Bush Sr.

Tony celebrated 40 years of employment with Mid-State Aerospace (Olathe, Kansas) on July 1, 2025, where Mid-State Aerospace honored him with a surprise dinner party and very special gifts. He loved his job and his Mid-State Aerospace family. Tony was a dedicated worker. He loved doing sales and traveling to the aerospace shows and conventions.

Tony received his education from elementary through high school in the Kansas City, Missouri School District and was a member of the Central High School class of 1980.

On February 13, 1993, Tony married his soul mate and love of his life, Pamela Bryant. They were married for 32 years.

As a man deeply rooted in his faith, Tony gave his life to Christ at Saint Stephen Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Tony later joined Bread of Life Community Baptist Church, where he became a dedicated deacon under the leadership of Pastor Vincent Barriere, Sr.

Tony truly loved his Bread of Life Community Baptist Church family and helped plan many fun trips and sightseeing adventures.

Tony was a sports enthusiast who coached many teams, loved watching sports, and attended many sporting events throughout his lifetime.

Tony was a family man. He had seven siblings whom he loved and adored, as well as many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed many holidays, parties, and trips with his family.

Last, but not least, Tony was an awesome dad to his children and "Pawpaw" to his grandchildren.

Tony's love, laughter, and kindness will never be forgotten.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Pamela Bryant-Bush; son, Aaron Malcolm Bush; daughter, Paige Cushon (Marquise); son, Jared Bush; grandchildren, Leslie Bush, Jayden Cushon, Jordyn Cushon, Jayce Cushon, Nyla Bush, Jersie Cushon, and Carter Bush; siblings, Brenda Wynne, Cleo Brager, Warrenetta McDaniel (Simueal), Warren Bush, Jr. (Cathy), Patricia Bush, Darryl Bush, and Aaron Taylor Bush; mother-in-law, Ernestine Bryant; and sister-in-law, Edie Bryant.
