Anthony Leroy Dantzler was born on March 18, 1967 in Kansas City, KS to Leroy Harper (who proceeds him death) and Phyllis L. Dantzler.

Anthony spent his life doing what he loved most, cooking and being a handy man. Also, for those who know…."chasing cars." Anthony loved cologne, DJ'ing, and fishing. Anthony had the biggest heart, was kind and was always ready to help all who called on him.

Anthony was a protector to the end. He wanted to be assured his mother and sisters were going to be ok and, in his words, "not out at night" even in his final hours.

Anthony would want us to remember him up dancing and sharing his sense of humor as he always looked to make people happy.

Anthony passed away on April 20, 2023 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sheila Richardson; his mother, Phyllis L. Dantzler; four children, Brandyn A. Dantzler of Washington State, Joshua W. Dantzler (Nayelly) of Shawnee, KS and Kree and Tayler Dantzler of Texas; 13 siblings, Sherena Dantzler Kindall (Rodney) of Raytown Mo, Tyjuan Michelle Dantzler of Kansas City, KS, Mark Harper (Tiffany), Lindsey Harper, and Seth Harper of Overland Park, KS, Marlayna Harper of Independence, Mo, Maurice Wilson, Melody Harper, Anthony (Tony) Harper, Lavera Prewitt (Dewayne), Robert "Damon" Harper (Kecia), Sydney Harper, Christopher Winters (Tammie), all of Kansas City, MO; three beloved step siblings, Tracy, Michael and Angel. Anthony was blessed with 9 grandchildren of which he cherished. Anthony also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins that all loved him dearly.
