Arnold Eugene Bolin was born December 29, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Helen Jackson and Abraham Ishmael Muhammad (FKA) Arnold J. Bolin. His father, mother, brother Mark D. Bolin, and sister Gwendolyn I. Broome preceded him in death.

Educated in Kansas City, Missouri School District, Arnold graduated from Manual High School in 1967. He participated in several activities and sports such as swimming, shoe making and track and field. In 1968, Arnold married Martha E. Hayes and from this union three beautiful daughters, Chaunzetta, Chaquata and Chaleatta were born. He called them the Three Cha, Cha, Cha's. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1976, at Blue Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Arnold enjoyed all types of music and had an outstanding record album collection. He was a talented artist and loved to cook for as well as entertain his friends and family. Arnold was also an avid chess player and a light-weight boxer with the Don Bosco Golden Gloves Organization.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his three daughters, Chaunzetta D. Bolin, Chaquata L. Bolin-Stigler, Chaleatta M. Bolin-Brinkley (Tony); three sisters, Aminah M. Muhammad (FKA) Virginia, Peggy Lamar (Lorenza), Denise R. Bolin; ex-wife, Martha E. Hayes-Bolin; eight grandchildren, Mikhaeleia L. Sheley, Kareem A. Stigler, Natalia T. Bolin, Mariq A. Stigler, Laila A. Stigler, Ares D. Brinkley, Athena D. Brinkley, Artemis D. Brinkley; three great-grandchildren; two nephews; three nieces and a host of cousins, great-nephews and nieces and friends.

Services for Mr. Bolin were held Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.
