Atherine "Reen" Moore (Neal) was born on June 28, 1950, in Kansas City, Kansas to Booker T. & Virginia Neal.  Her parents, two sisters, Aretta and Retha and one brother, Carl preceded her in death.

She attended and graduated from Manual High School and was employed at Sears Roebuck & Company for 25 years.

She was united in marriage to Rufus Moore where 1 daughter was born.

Reen loved to read mysteries.  Her favorite author was Agatha Christie.  She loved listening to Motown Artists and of course two stepping to the "Old School" music.  On Sundays you could always count on the fact that she would be watching the Kansas City Chiefs.  If you needed to know the most up to date and current news, Reen was your go to.  If you knew Reen, then you know that she loved to fuss, but that was only because she was very passionate, and had a very caring heart especially towards those she loved.  No event was complete until she was there.  She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

On August 23, 2020, God sent his Angel by Reen's side and whispered "Come my child, I will give you sweet rest."

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Monique Moore (special friend Lee) of Raytown, MO; granddaughter, Niecey Richey (Justina);  grandson, Chase Moore all of Bowling  Greens, KY;  brother, Larry Neal;  brothers-in-law, Timothy Kelso and Ronald Sanders all of Kansas City, MO; three younger sisters, Faye Kimble (Kerry), of Independence MO, Debbie Dunn (Steve), Shirley Jackson (David) and a  host of aunts, nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Service for Mrs. Moore were held Thursday, August 27, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens.
