Barbara E. Jones, 82, left us to be with the Lord On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO.  She was born August 23, 1939, to Bidd and Edward Alexander in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She attended Dunbar School where she lived in Shawnee, OK.  She later moved to Spencer, OK where she attended and graduated from Dungy School.

Barbara was a majorette and played the clarinet in the band.  Later in life Barbara met and married Verlee Jones and they moved to Kansas City, MO in 1963.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four sons, Andre, Terry, Eric and Mark; two daughters, Jarva and Shirley (Daryl McGee, Sr.) and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She will be dearly missed.

Services for Mrs. Jones will be 1:00 P.M.  Saturday, January 23, 2021, at E. S .Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from11:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
