Beatrice (Bea) Z. Graham born April 1, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant, TX the only child to Clayton & Zola Collins. She was preceded in death by both parents and Mother-in-law Gertrude Graham.

Bea grew up in Texarkana, TX and attended Dunbar High School where she met the love of her life Ernest. She had a love for basketball and was an avid basketball player throughout high school. Bea also loved dancing and she and Ernest would draw a crowd while on the dance floor.  She also liked to bowl in which she would often go with her friends.  Bea was a licensed beautician graduated from Madame CJ Walker Beauty School.

Bea married Ernest C. Graham August 28, 1948 and both moved to KCMO. To this union three daughters were born Linda, Janice and Sandy.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed being around her family and was called Aunt Bea by many. She was quiet and reserved but would not hesitate to check you about her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed watching her grandson Jelani play football, baseball and basketball; her great-granddaughter JeNique play basketball; and her great-grandson Keyon play baseball and would rarely miss a game.

Bea joined Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ in 1959 and has remained there for 60 years. In the earlier years she was a member of the Ladies Chorus.

Bea leaves to cherish her loving memory her Husband of 72 years Ernest C. Graham; Daughters Linda Jordan (Ronald), Janice Reliford (Dwight) and Sandy Graham; Grandson Jelani Graham; Granddaughters Akera Johnson (Peter) and Terriana Dixon; Great Granddaughter JeNique Graham; Great Grandsons Keyon McMullen and Little Jelani Graham and Bonus Grandson Romello Akins; Step-Father Rev. Charles Bryant (Joyce); Sister Louradell Bryant; Sister-in-Law Barbara Love; Cousin Ernest Williams (Carlotta); God-Daughter Courtney Edwards (Anthony); God-Sons Ernest & Brad Hogan and a host of family and friends.

Service for Mrs. Graham will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
