Billy R. Horn, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was born October 31, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Joseph "Joe" Horn and Irma Jackson Horn. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Anthony "Tony" Simmons of St. Louis, MO; sister, Cherise Simmons of Kansas City, MO and his long-time significant other, Sherrie Lewis of Denver, CO and Kansas City, MO.

Billy resided in Kansas City until his final days. He attended Yeager and Sanford B. Ladd Elementary Schools, Central Junior and Senior and Paseo Senior High Schools.  Billy was entrepreneur all of his adult life.  He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, through and through. He had a passion for dogs and was the proud owner of several breeds throughout his lifetime.

Billy was father of one son: Kenneth "Red" and stepfather to Sherrod Lewis.

He is survived by: his devoted sister, Jo Ann Horn of Kansas City, Kansas and a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Horn will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.
