Blanche Olivia Doss , born February 6, 1937, was born to the union of James Arthur Leverette and Asilee Leverette. Blanche was the last born of 10 children.

She received her formal education from Chicot County Education System. She also attended Arkansas AM&N College in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She received her Nursing Degree from the University of Kansas School of Nursing.

In her youth, she was a member of the Washington Memorial Church of God in Christ in Dermott, Arkansas.

Upon moving to Kansas City, Kansas, Blanche affiliated with Mason Temple Church of God in Christ, then moving on to Edwardsville Temple Church of God in Christ, Christian Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, and Evangelistic Center Church of God in Christ. Lastly, settling at Agape New Beginnings Ministries at 6322 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas 66102.

When affiliated with the Church of God in Christ, she was a licensed Missionary. She was the Church Mother at Agape New Beginnings Ministries.

She married Willie Doss, Jr. on December 3, 1954. To this union, four children were born.

She was preceded in death by both parents, all her siblings, brothers, Arthur (Juanita) Leverette, Frederick Leverette, and James Leverette; sisters, Ola Leverette, Alice Johnson Leverette, Lillie Arther Ree Leverette Reeves, Johnnie Leverette Robinson, Asilee Owens Leverette and Jessie Leverette Brown.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Brenda Doss Parker, Dewayne (Margaret) Doss, Gary Gene Doss and Cheryl Annette Doss; three grandsons, Andre (Tera) Doss, Corey (Stacee) Doss and Rick (Sonlla) Parker. She also leaves behind, sister-in-laws, Margarete Leverette and Voncele Leverette; a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

She also raised her other children she adopted with love, Seandalee (Kievi) Jones-Baker, Alfie Carter, Farris "Petey" Carter and Samantha Watkins.

Mother Doss served the Lord and church with all her heart and will be sorely missed.
