Bobbie was the second born of six children. She became a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Her membership was later changed to Palestine Missionary Baptist church of Jesus Christ in 1982. She received her education from the Kansas City School District where she later graduated and continued her education in nursing.

On October 3, 1965, Bobbie was joined in holy matrimony to Stanley L. Johnson Sr. To this union their son Stanley L. Johnson Jr. was born on November 14, 1968. Bobbie Worked as a Nurse until she fell ill.

Bobbie Later received her certification in childcare from the Frances Center and Linc in Kansas City, MO. She worked as a teacher in Palestine's daycare. She later became the lead teacher in the infant room at her sister, Bryndal's home childcare Hasley's Little Miracles Daycare.

Bobbie enjoyed singing in the church choir, crocheting, needlepoint, working with children and cooking. She was known for her Rum and Fruit Cakes.

Bobbie Johnson gained her wings on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Saint Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

Bobbie was preceded in death by both mother and father Robert and Mary Hasley of Kansas City, MO; sister Lenora Martin (James Martin) of Little Rock, AR; brothers Tommy L. Hasley (Sheryl Hasley) of Hamilton, NJ; Henry K. Hasley (Beverly Hasley) of Peculiar, MO; Richard C. Ross (Etta Ross) of Peculiar, MO; Glenn Woods of Kansas City, MO; Cousin/sister Flossie Winston (Shelby Winston) Kansas City, MO.

She leaves to mourn her passing but forever remembering her memory: her son, Stanley Johnson Jr. of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Jonathon Smith (Ashley) of Olathe, KS, DaJuan K. Heard, Lawrence E. Johnson; only granddaughter, Ciera M. Johnson; brothers, Samuel W. Hasley, Garland Hill (Sharon Hill); sister, Bryndal F. Hasley all of Kansas City, MO; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services for Mrs. Johnson will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
