Bobbie Jack Williams was born on July 23, 1937, in Tyler Texas to Jesse and Sulie Williams and was 10 of 12 children.  Bobbie Jack was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.

Bobbie received Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Easter O. Sweet at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Tyler, TX.  He graduated from Emmet Scott High School and was attending Texas College when he was drafted into the U.S. Armed Services.  He served his country in Okinawa, Japan.  After his stint in the army, Bobbie moved to Los Angeles, CA where he resided for many years before returning back to Tyler, TX to be with his mother.  For many years Bobbie owned and operated Elite Car Wash and Detail Services where his customers included most of the major car dealerships.

Bobbie, who learned to play the piano at the age of 4, was a gifted player and vocalist. In Tyler he would play the piano and sing at local churches. He was a faithful member of Family of Faith Church.   Bobbie was a Christian man who had a love affair with the Bible of which he read daily until his vision failed him, then he would listen on tape.  It was common for him to ask everyone he met, "Do you know the Lord?"

Bobbie moved to Kansas City, MO several years ago, due to failing health, to be with his baby sister, Mildred who he lived with until she could no longer care for him at home.  He passed away at a local long term care home on Saturday May 1, 2022, at 84 years of age.

He is survived by: his sister, Mildred Williams-Morris (E.J) of Kansas City, MO and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Services for Mr. Williams will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday , May 23, 2022, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial Leavenworth National Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the chapel.
