Carl Willis Seats was born in Augusta, Arkansas September 15, 1957, to Lillie Lindsey and stepfather, Era B. Lindsey.  Both parents preceded him in death.  Carl was the oldest of five children.

He loved listening to music, making his model cars and airplanes and riding motorcycles.  He attended Paseo High School and graduated in the class of 1976.  On July 22, 1977, Carl joined the Air Force at Lackland AFB in Lackland, Texas.  He was a Security Specialist and received an honorable discharge April 20, 1983.  Carl had numerous jobs over the years

Carl Willis Seats passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

He is survived by: two sisters, Veronica Seats and Linda Lindsey; two brothers, Maurice Lindsey and Michael Lindsey of the city; a nephew, Michael Lindsey; two nieces, Tamara Vann and Amber Lindsey of the city; three great-nephews; two great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; two aunts, Poneice Paige and Neotrice Johnson all of the city and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Seats will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Leavenworth National Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the chapel.
