Carliss Gail Lewis , (Affectionately Known as Lolly), 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Kansas City Hospice House.  She was the only child born to George McAfee and Neomi Anderson (A.K.A. "Babe") on September 26th, 1944. She was a resident of Kansas City Missouri.  She attended Central High School, Kansas City, MO.

Carliss was joined in Holy matrimony to William Lewis.  To this union was born one Son, Gregory Lovell Lewis.  She was a very caring and loving Mother, who was so proud of her Son Gregory and loved him unconditionally.  She had a quiet and generous spirit that touched everyone. She loved hanging out with family, friends and having fun.

Carliss was a woman of Faith.  She gave her life to Christ and was sold out for Jesus.  If you ever talked to her, you would know really quick about her relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.  She was a member of World Changers Church International, Creflo Dollar, Sr. Pastor. She attended the satellite location until it closed during COVID. She continued to support the ministry and remained a faithful member until her passing.

She was employed by Menorah hospital for 30 years and Rockhurst College for over 16 years.  She was a hard and dedicated worker.  Although she didn't drive, she made it to work every day. She received many awards from her employers.  Carliss then retired March of 2014.

Her Parents and husband, all preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her son, Gregory L. Lewis, Grandson Stephen Dukes, a host of cousins and friends.
