Catherine Aline Ellison was born in Rayville, Louisiana on May 31, 1956. To the union of Maybelle and Eva Mae Ellison.

Catherine was preceded in death by both parents, and brother, Robert L Ellison.

Catherine enjoyed watching various sports games, among them, football, baseball, (both professional and college), soccer, and golf. Catherine was a long time Dallas Cowboys fan.

She enjoyed playing board games and cards with her family and friends. The game of Rummikub had become her favorite game lately.

She enjoyed cooking and watching the cooking shows. She loved to cook and bake. Catherine often hosted her sisters for home cooked meals at her (Kitty Cat Cafe).

She had great sense of humor and really appreciated a good laugh and comical comments. She would show her appreciation by saying "that's a good one."

Before her retirement, Catherine worked in accounts receivables and accounts payable for many years. She worked in Dallas, Texas, Cincinnati, Ohio and Kansas City, Missouri.

Catherine joined St. Paul Baptist Church in Rayville, Louisiana as a young child.

Catherine leaves to mourn her passing daughters, Andrea Ellison and Shamoniki Ellison; sisters, Geneva Allen, Minnie Ellison, Patricia Ellison, Jacqueline Ellison, and Lisa Ellison; brothers, Ronald Ellison and Donald Ellison; niece, KeWanda Mack; nephews, Andy Brown, Johnny Allen, III, and Brandon Allen. She also leaves a host of family and friends.
