Chadwick (Chad) Deon Baker, Sr.'s Obituary
Chad Baker, 46, was born on September 9, 1973, in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry Mack
Baker and Betty Ann Henson. He became a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Mack Baker, his mother, Betty Ann
Henson, and his older brother Harry Mack Baker II.
Chad attended Van Horn High School in Kansas City, Missouri. After high school he got
to see many places as he traveled around doing work in the roofing industry.
There is nothing that Chad loved more than family. He leaves to cherish his memory:
his son, Chadwick (Chad) Deon Baker II; his wife, Cara McFarland-Baker; his brother,
Danny Baker; his half-brother, Bradley Anderson; his step brother, Shane Henson; his
sister in law, Michelle Hurtado; a niece, Mystee Baker; 2 nephews, Harry Mack Baker III
and his wife, Carressa Castro, Matthew Baker; 2 great nieces, Sarenitte Baker-Brown,
Sareena Baker-Brown; and 2 great nephews, Shawn Brown II, and Zaine Baker.
Chad lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed family events, and tattooing among many
other things. He was a true "jack of all trades". He will forever hold an eternal place in
our hearts.
Services for Mr. Baker will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at E.S. Eley
& Sons Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from 1:00PM until service time on Wednesday,
February 19, 2020 at the chapel.
