Chanda Janae Williams (Kelso) was born on September 3, 1971, in Kansas City, KS to Timothy & Aretta Kelso.  Her grandparents, mother, Aretta and her oldest son, Antonio "AJ" preceded her in death.  She graduated from Southwest High School and attended the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.  Chanda was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Warren and now Rev. Marvin Tigner where she had recently rededicated her life to Christ.  Chanda was united in marriage to Antonio Williams where two sons, Antonio "AJ" and Andrew "Drew" were born.  Her family was her heart and soul.  She was employed at A Blessed Choice of Care as the Office Manager which was a job that she loved to serve.

Chanda loved to read, cook and watch TV.  Her knowledge of current events made her a very valuable resource.  Some of her kitchen favorites you could find her cooking were southern fried chicken, pork chops, fried cabbage, chicken gumbo, Mac and Cheese.  Some of her favorite television shows included: Law and Order SVU, The Masked Singer, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds and The Andy Griffith Show, but nothing was like spending time with her family and friends.

As a young girl, Chanda had a habit of twirling the front part of her hair which was a clue that she was in deep thought.  Chanda was a smart and generous person and had a giving heart.  She would give you her last dime and saw a percentage of good in everyone.  If you knew Chanda, then you know that her family was EVERYTHING!!  Her Unconditional Love was evident in the way she came alongside to help raise her 1st born niece, Jimi' as she looked to her as her special daughter.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Timothy Kelso (Gerri) of KCMO; the father of her sons, Antonio Williams of Atlanta, GA, one son," the love of her heart" Andrew "Drew", her special daughter/niece, Jimi' Gladney all of KCMO.; one daughter in love, Dazsha Graves,; one granddaughter, "the joy of her heart" Anyla Williams "Nyla" of KCMO; three loving sisters, Myrina Dixon (Eric) of St. Louis, MO, Alexis White (Oliver) and Richelle Sherman (Shelly) all of KCMO; two brothers, Reginald "Reggie" Sherman (Lisa) and family, Roman "Mark" Sherman (Tonettte) and family, her sweet and precious nieces, Kaylee "Her Kaylee K" and Jayla,; one nephew, Raphael "who was more like a son"; 1 great-nephew, Rodney; her 2nd mothers who are her aunties, uncles, special cousins "who were more like sisters and brothers", and a host of special friends including her boss, Cindy who was a true and dear friend.   Chanda will be truly missed, but NEVER forgotten!!
