Mrs. Charlene Deloris Grayson was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 24, 1932, to Charles Lankford and Marguerite Moore.  She graduated from Bartlett High School in St. Joseph, Missouri.

She met and married Willie L. Grayson from Plattsburg, Missouri in December of 1954.  They were blessed to be married for 68 wonderful years.

In August of 1958, they had a son, Ronald L Grayson; April of 1962, a daughter Elizabeth M Grayson; and in July 1963, had their 3rd child, Michael E Grayson.

She worked for Jimmy Woodley for several years cleaning office buildings before retiring.

Charlene was an active member of Shalom Missionary Baptist church, an avid bowler in several leagues, loved watching ice skating tournaments, and most of all loved being with her family.

She leaves behind her husband, Willie L. Grayson; 3 children, Ronald, Elizabeth, and Michael (spouse, Tammy Grayson); 8 grandchildren, Tamika Glover-Grayson, Ronald Grayson Jr, Ronnia Grayson, Rea'chel Grayson, Chontel Grayson, Collette Grayson Shanique Grayson and Michael T Grayson; 2 great- grandsons, Derrick Pennie, Jr. and Andre Weed Jr.; 2 great-granddaughters, Alanakai and Samayah Pascual; and a host of other relatives and friends.
