Charlene was born on July 10, 1955 to Charley and Ada Johnson who both preceded her in death.  Charlene lived in Kansas City, Mo all her life. She attended Paseo High School. She has overcome many challenges that God brought her back from.

Charlene loved her family and helped raise her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.  Her favorite pastime was fishing.

Charlene was preceded in death by her son, Robert (Robbie) Johnson; two sisters, Theresia Irvin, and Penny Monroe; six brothers, James Johnson, Frank Johnson, Herbert Graves, Benjamin Graves, Alvin Graves, and Sam Graves.

Charlene leaves to celebrate her life, (life partner), Frank Flowers; three sons, Johnny Johnson (Rachel), Daniel Johnson (Yvette), and Dempsey Johnson; one daughter, Angel Johnson; and three brothers, Charles Johnson Jr., Ludwick Graves, and Henry Graves; 16 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Services for Ms. Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at E.S. Eley and Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc. Burial Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may call 9:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
