Charles L. Isaac also known as "Brother Isaac," of Lee's Summit Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2020, at home. Charles was born January 2, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Lizzie Mae Isaac, who preceded him in death, along with his sister, JoAnn Cullors.

Charles moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1958, and enlisted in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam.  Afterwards Charles went to work at General Motors and retired after 33 years.  Later he became the founder of The Miracle House, a program for men suffering from addiction.  He also started Tabatha House for women who suffered from addiction as well.  Brother Isaac was well known for his barbeque, and for a short period, he opened his own business, Adams Rib Barbeque.

Charles was a faithful member of Sheffield Family Life Center, after rededicating his life to God when he was delivered and healed from the things that held him in bondage. He began to live by John 8:31-32, because he believed it was nobody but God who " SET HIM FREE ." Charles was a sweet soul that was a motivator for many, encouraging them to give their life to Christ and walk in the purpose that God had called them to.  He was a faithful giver of his time and resources.  He would always volunteer time at the VA Hospital and church, sharing his testimony.

Fishing was one of his favorite past-times, which he said was a time of peace for him.  One of his favorite songs was, "Your Grace and Mercy", for he truly believed that he was a trophy of God's Grace.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: one son, Kenneth W. Isaac (Shanita) of Lee's Summit, MO; two sisters, Vicky Seals (Willard) of Arlington, TX; Sharon Stowers of Kansas City, MO, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Services for Mr. Isaac will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 18, 2020, at E.S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial at Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
