Charles Etta Rall made her grand entrance into this world in Hanyesville LA on April 10, 1946, to proud parents Charlie B and Atwill Grant Scott. She was the youngest of 13 children. By the time she was born many of her siblings were grown and no longer in the home, but her parents raised 3 grandchildren that she was as close to as her siblings. Charlie as she was affectionately known as, was met at Heavens gates by her loving parents, her 5 brothers, Nebraska, Prentis, John, Henry, Roy and 6 sisters Estella, Bertha, Elvia, Ella Jean, Willie Jean, Lula B as well as nephew/brother James and niece/sister "lil" Mary and last but certainly not least her younger grandson Anthony.

Charlie attended Lawson Chapel School until second grade followed by Bonita Rosewald until eighth grade. She completed her education at Morouge High School where she graduated in 1965 and soon moved to Kansas City, MO.

She joined Wright Temple and later Gethsemane COGIC under Rev A.L.Scott which is now led by Elder Daryl Randolph Sr. Charlie would be a faithful member of Gethsemane until she could no longer attend but it was always in her heart. She sang in the A.L Scott Specials, the Jubilee and the Deliverance choirs. She may have been known even more by her gift of cooking which led her to run the hospitality committee for over 30 years. Her last honor was when she joined the Mother's Board in 2019.

She worked at various cafeterias in Kansas City including Norman's Cafeteria where she would meet her future husband, Harold Rall. They would go on to share 3 children, Yolanda, Latonia and Harold Elyard. April 23,1973 Charlie would get a job at a new hotel, the Westin Crown Center, where she would work for the next 40 years. She started as a line cook but would go on to be a Sous Chef having worked in the Coffee Shop, the Brasserie, Benton's and finally the employee's cafeteria.

After a long illness Charlie departed this life September 25, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter's Yolanda Williams and Latonia Adgers (Derrick) of Kansas City, Mo; son Harold E. Rall of Atlanta, GA; one grandson Aaron Blanford (Jasmyn) of Kansas City, MO; 2 granddaughters Adrienne Blanford (Alim) and Briana Evans of Kansas City, MO; 6 great grands Ky-Mani, Amir, Se'Rae, Zion, Jai'La, and Aiyana of Kansas City, MO; one sister Elleanor Brown-Davis (Jerry) of Shreveport, LA; niece/sister Rosie Eubanks of Shreveport, LA; 3 brother in laws, Samuel Reed of Little Rock, AR, Max Cain (Glenda) and Kenneth Cain of Kansas City, MO; one sister in law Linda Cain of Kansas City, MO several nieces, nephews and cousins. Longtime friends, Betty Bunting of Conway, AR; Joann Obie, Katherine Taylor, Jeanette Wilkins, Faye Parks, and Mary (Theodore) Scott of Kansas City, MO and close family friends Alisa Jerkins and David Downs of Kansas City, MO.

Services for Mrs. Rall will be held 11:00 A. M. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Center of Hope Ministries.  Burial XII Gates Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the church.
