Cheryl Renee' Love, 41, of Kansas City, Missouri left her earthly home and made her heavenly transition on Wednesday October 16, 2019.

She was born on November 10, 1977 in Kansas City, Missouri, the first child born to the union of James and Violet B. Love.  She received her formal education in Kansas City, Missouri at Kumpf Elementary School, Truman Elementary School, Ervin Junior High School, Hickman Mills Senior High School (Class of 1996) and Longview Community College.  Cheryl worked at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, Walmart, Longview Community College and the Internal Revenue Service.

Cheryl accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized on February 2, 1986 at Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of C.T. McLain where she served faithfully as a youth and young adult.  She was a member of several ministries at church which included the Sunday School, Women's Missionary Union, Youth Usher Board, Children's Choir, Girl Scouts, Children's Church, Judah Sheepfold, Nursery, Media, Culinary, Senior Adults, Young Adults, Singles and her most favorite ministry was the Sanctuary Choir.  She loved to sing in the choir.  She also helped out in any way she could for her church and her family.

Cheryl loved her family and friends.  She was a people person with a great personality and gave out the biggest and cheekiest hugs.  She always enjoyed family gatherings and reunions, going out with friends, talking on the phone and watching sports.  She was a devoted Chiefs fan for many years.  She loved everyone's children and always watched after and took care of any child that crossed her path.  She gave birth to her own bundle of joy on May 17, 2014.  Camden Elijah Love was the apple of her eye and she did the very best to love and treasure every moment with him.

She leaves to forever cherish her memories:  Her son, Camden Elijah Love; her parents, James (Violet) Love; one sister, Marissa A. Love; one brother, Ricardo Love of Stockton, California; three uncles, Howard (Fron) Ball Jr., Carlton Ball of Memphis TN, Herman Ball of Cleveland, OH; six aunts, Peggy Ball-Coleman of Raytown, MO, Shelia A. Campbell of Kansas City, MO, Joyce Love of Kansas City, MO, Ellouise Ball-Warr, Zefferia Ball and Carylon Ball of Memphis, TN; two great uncles, Robert (Roxie) Ball of Memphis, TN, Tom (Dorothy) Adams of Grandview, MO; one great aunt, Kathryn Adams of Kansas City, MO; and a host of cousins and friends whom will forever cherish her memory and miss her dearly.

Services for Ms. Love will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Friendship Baptist Church.  Burial Mount Moriah Cemetery.  Friends may call 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
