Ms. Chita Marcella Bean was born September 5, 1965, in Los Angeles, California to Beverly Jean Bean and Donald Bean. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Bean, father Donald Bean and daughter, Chitha Bean.

The family moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she attended and graduated from Van Horn High School.  She was employed with Alliance Healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Chita confessed her hope in Christ at an early age.  She was a member of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor E. R. Verner.

Chita loved her relationship with her family. Aunts Kathy Marshburn, Celest West, Linda Thrower, and uncles Jerome Foster, Edward West, Bruce Foster and Larry Foster.

Chita was married November 10, 2001, to Samuel Washington; after 9 plus years of marriage it was resolved with love and understanding. Chita grew to be a better woman, a stronger woman and a great mother. Her love was unconditional and her heart was big, very big. Chita was a smart, generous and caring mother.  She would give her last to help. She loved everyone and had a long range of friends and adopted siblings. A beautiful soul that anyone could see.

Chita Marcella Bean was called to take her spot in heaven on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.  She will always be loved and remembered for all the light and love she brought with her when she showed her face.

She leaves behind: four older children whom she loved dearly, Aaron Bean, Dywone Bean, Ashia Bean, Daniel Bean; thirteen grandchildren, Dazhon Bean, Desmond Rowe, Aaryon Bean, Jaylin Todd, Lay'Shawn Bean, De'Ashia Bean, La'Daishia Bean, Darion Smith, Da'Neya Bean, Jamichael Crosby, Da'Nea Bean, Amyiah Bean, and A'moryon Bean. She also leaves behind Hailey Johns the man that she loved truly, the man she was going to marry.

Service for Ms. Bean were held Friday, November 30, 2018, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor E. R. Verner officiating.
