Christine (Christeene) Minor McDonald was born on February 9, 1938 in Woodruff County, Arkansas to Jesse, Sr. and Erell Minor. She also had an older brother Jesse, Jr.

In her early teens, she would move to Kansas City, KS with her family where she attended Calvery Baptist Church and she devoted her life to Christ at an early age. She would be an usher with the church for many years. She also attended Sumner Academy where she was a majorette, hated math, studied Spanish fluently, played the flute and always kept good grades.

After graduating in 1956, she would go on to work at the Jones Store as a trainer while also attending clerical school to further her skills. She would later retire from the Federal Building where she worked in the Social Security Dept as a clerk for many years.

On May 20, 1960, she married Shannon McDonald, Sr. where they would have six children in their union. Two sons and one daughter would parish early in life.

In her early 20s, she loved to travel. She loved spending time with close family and friends, listening to music, telling jokes, stargazing, reading, playing card games, watching sports and classic movies, discussing politics and most importantly her Father God (Guard), whom she also taught her children to love. Her faith was unwavering.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; and 3 children, Jesse, Christopher and Briget.

She leaves to mourn her three surviving children, Shannon, Jr. (Sean), Courtney Lynn and Roger N.; daughter- in- law, Donna; grandchildren, Ke'Shaun, Calvin, Jasmine, She'Kenya, Stephon, Ta'Tyrah, Sydnee' and Synae'; great-grandchildren, Christyan, Ke'Ara, Kamorah and Zacharian; a host of family and friends.
