Christopher Anthony DePeralta, age 23, of Kansas City, MO, passed away October 26, 2021. Chris was born on April 15, 1998 to the parents of Cassandra Garcia and Anthony DePeralta. He attended Scuola Vita Nuova, Alta Vista Charter and other technical schools. Chris acquired many jobs throughout his young adulthood, but his passion was always music. Since childhood, Chris enjoyed mixing songs together or creating his own beats. Music was his escape from the harsh realities of this world.

Chris was a young man who cared deeply for his family members and yearned for meaningful connections. He was often misunderstood and quiet. However, those close to him were able to see the depth of his loving soul and hear his infectious laughter. As a boy, he was never afraid to try new things or take on the next dare. Chris longed to always be with his daughter, Selena, and hoped to pass on his adventurous spirit.

Christopher is survived by his parents, Cassandra Garcia and Anthony DePeralta; his brother Joeseph Garcia; and his daughter Selena DePeralta. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Beatriz and Frank Garcia; and his paternal grandparents Daniel DePeralta and Linda Delgado. Along with several close aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are being held at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 6, 2021. The visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. All donations, cards, and flowers are welcome.
