Clem Roland Robinson was the third of the four children born to the late Dimple and Spencer Robinson Sr.  Mr. Robinson was born in Dalton, Mo on June 12, 1929. His parents and siblings proceeded him in death.

Mr. Robinson received his academic education with the Dalton Public Schools System and graduated from Dalton Vocational High School. Mr. Robinson received his religious education at home as well as in the church and was baptized at The First Baptist Church of Dalton. That education built the foundation of his faith in God, which guided and sustained him throughout his life.

When his family moved to Kansas City, he joined Progressive Baptist Church. Later in life his membership was moved to Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ. He was an Army Veteran and served in Germany from 1951-1953. After his service in the military, he worked for the water department until retirement.

Mr. Robinson married Helen L. Brown in July 1954. The fruit of this union produced three daughters: Rosalind, Marion and Betty Jean.

Mr. Robinson enjoyed attending church activities, especially his Sunday School class. He was always ready to have a conversation and had a great since of humor. He looked for the good in situations. He was careful to remind us of God's presence and goodness all around us. He will be dearly missed by all of his family members, his caring neighbors at Hidden Lake, the Dalton relatives, his precious nieces and nephews and his loving church family.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his daughters, Rosalind Morgan, Marion Robinson and Betty Childress, grandchildren Donald Harvey (Alicia), Tymia Morgan and Erica Forte (Carlston), 6 great-grandchildren and the following extended family Reginald Franklin (Leslie), James Franklin, Robert Franklin (deceased), Terence Anderson (Candance) and Rayce Anderson(Jeannie) all of Kansas City, Missouri.

Our Father, Papa, Uncle and friend to many was an example of a man who loved the Lord! He was a precious gift from God and we were blessed to have him in our lives.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robinson will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 12:00PM at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ, 3619 East 35th Street, Kansas City, MO 64128.  Visitation 10AM.  Internment Mount Moriah Cemetery.
