Clifford Eugene Moore 67, gained his Heavenly Wings on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  He was born September 25, 1954, to Columbus William and Eunice Ramona Henderson Moore.  His parents and brother-in-law, Charles (Goldie) Ashley preceded him in death.

Clifford was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District and graduated from Paseo High School in 1972.  Clifford worked at the family grocery store where his parents shopped.  When the store closed, he started working for Kansas City News on East 75 ^th street and this is where he started in music distribution.  After working there for a couple of years, he went to Eklund Enterprise on Truman Rd. and he was able to buy the records at wholesale, taking orders from the neighborhood and lots of his friends.  Tiger Record Shop on Independence Avenue was Eklund's largest client, and they often held in-store promotions on the day of a big concert and the main performers would come to Tiger's and Clifford made sure his sister and her friends were "in the house"!  After Tiger's closed due to a fire, business slowed down and Eklund Enterprise was forced to close.  Clifford then worked for BCBS of Kansas City for several years until he was part of a company lay-off plan.

Clifford was gifted and held jobs, such as, interior painting, redecorating for close friends and family and was a stylist assist for renowned hair stylist professionals, Artis Phillips and Bishop Tony Evans.  Clifford's social skills landed him the career job, working first for The Four Points on the Plaza.  And before his 90-day probationary period had ended, he was offered the job as Front Desk Manager for Westin Crown Center and he worked there for 21 years, until his recent retirement due to his health.

Clifford was a lifetime member of Jamison Temple CME Church where he served as a Steward, E.D. Franks Usher Board and the Christian Elites.  Clifford also served as a personal assistant and armor-bearer for Rev. Dr. David L. Bryant Jr., during his tenure.

He leaves to cherish his memory: sister, Ella Mae Moore-Ashley; brother, Alfred William "Spuddy" Moore (Rosalinde); nephews, Vincent, Charlie and Allen; great-nephew, William; great-niece, La'Miya along with a host of extended family, cousins and friends.

Services for Mr. Moore will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Jamison Temple C.M.E. Church.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
