Clyde J. Burtin was born June 7, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Jeremiah Burtin and Lucille Ellis Burtin. He was preceded in death by both parents; four brothers, Kenneth Burtin, Jerry Burtin, Frederick Burtin and Charles Burtin and a sons Marcus Lee.

Clyde attended school in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District. He was employed by Captain D's Restaurant for several years.

Clyde departed this life on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters, LaKisha Burtin and LaFonda Lee; sons, Eben Jackson and Steven Burtin; brothers Calvin Earl Burtin, Larry Burtin and Timothy Burtin and a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Mr. Burtin will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Fellowship Right Baptist Church with Pastor Lawrence Nevels Sr. officiating. Burial Brooking Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 A. M. until service time Saturday at the church.
