Curtis Ray Allen, Sr. was born July 27, 1939 in Warren, Arkansas to Nathaniel Allen and Annie Gordon.  He was raised by his loving great-grandmother, Octavial until he left Warren to come to Kanas City, MO to live with his mother, Annie Mae Gordon.

Mr. Curtis retired from Mercedes Benz Aristocrat Motors where he was a chauffeur.  Mr. Curtis was a jack of all trades, but was his greatest at being a father, husband, great-grandfather and stepfather.

At the age of 62, he met and married his last and final wife, Mary Alexander.  They were married for 15 years.

Mr. Curtis Ray Allen, Sr. departed this earthly life on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at his home.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Curtis Allen, II; two daughters, Sharon Vandenberg (Henk) and Curtecia Allen Porter (Donnie); three stepsons, Randy Alexander, Jermon Alexander and Matthew Alexander and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and dear friends.

Services for Mr. Allen will be held 2:00 P . M. Saturday, June 29, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Private Disposition.  Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
