With deep love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Damon Rolf , a man whose spirit could never be limited by circumstance. He lived with strength, laughter, and a heart full of joy that touched everyone around him.

Damon was born on January 6, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Esther Fuel and Emmett Rolf. Raised by Donald Therman, whom he proudly called, "daddy" whom he shared a close relationship, he cherished this special bond throughout his life. Damon attended both Westport High School and Paseo High School in Kansas City. He was the proud father of three children: Damon Rolf, Geraldine Rolf, and D'Ashley Rolf. His enduring love for family was evident through the strong ties that spanned multiple generations.

Damon loved music, especially classic hip hop, which gave him joy and freedom. Sharing tunes with loved ones always energized the room. Movies were another passion, he enjoyed suspense and scares, but most of all, watching films with those close to him.

More than anything, family was the center of his world. He treasured every moment spent laughing, joking and creating memories with those closest to him. His sense of humor was unforgettable, quick-witted and able to bring smiles to everyone he encountered. He had a way of making people comfortable, loved and entertained by just being himself.

Damon lived a life that was filled with personality. His resilience and humor and love for others will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he will be greatly missed, his laughter, music and unforgettable spirit will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Damon is survived by his mother, Esther Fuel; his children, Damon Rolf, Geraldine Rolf, and D'Ashley Rolf; his grandchildren, Alexander Rolf, Warrenson Dukes, Shelton Dukes, Stoney Ross, Londyn Smith, and Lyric Smith; brother Michael Rolf, Sr.; as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Damon is preceded in death by many family and friends, who welcomed him "home" with open arms!
