Daniel "DC" Colding was born May 31, 1957, to Alma Colding and Christopher Ford in Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and 6 siblings.  Daniel attended Kansas City, KS Public Schools.  He was baptized at an early age.

Daniel was an over the road Truck Driver for many years, he retired in 2007.  Daniel was a family man that loved motorcycles, old cars and big trucks. He was an avid jazz listener and enjoyed blaring it through his many stereo systems.  Daniel loved riding his motorcycle throughout the country but he was happiest when spending time with his family.

Daniel, 63, of Grandview, Mo passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his wife, Diane Kyle; four children, Daniel (Patricia) Colding Jr., Anthony Kyle, Adama Kamara and Mieisha (Ron) Parker; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, John Colding; 4 sisters, Ernestine Mebane, Christina (Warren) Bennett, Darlene Ford, Annetta Ford and many relatives and close family friends will cherish his memories as well.

Services for Mr. Colding will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 15, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition.  Visitation 1:00 P.M. until service time Monday at the chapel.
