Darren Craig Hagens' Obituary
Darren Craig Hagens, 58, was born June 7, 1960, to Doris Hagens Hammonds. One sister, Dena Hagens preceded him in death. Darren accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church by Rev. I H. Henderson, Jr. He was educated in the Kansas City Public School District from Kindergarten through high school.
He was a gregarious and fun loving person who never met a stranger.
Darren moved to St. Louis over 20 years ago. He worked for the St. Louis County Park and Recreation Department for 12 years. He also worked a part-time job in maintenance for the City of Clayton, Missouri Police Department.
Darren Craig Hagens departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Darren made an impact on every person he met and will be missed in both Kansas City and St. Louis.
He leaves to treasure his memory and celebrate his spirit: his mother, Doris Hammonds; sister, Andrea Hagens; two brothers, Steven Hagens and Eric Hagens (Vanessa); one aunt, Thelma Truelove and a host of relatives, friends and his extended family the "block."
Services for Mr. Hagens will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at E. S .Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
