Darren Dwayne Jones was born July 7,1970, to Eloise & Billy Moore in Kansas City, Missouri.  He lived the bulk of his life in the Kansas City area.  He was preceded in death by two children, Darrenee K. Hardin & Darren D. Jones, Jr.; his parents, Eloise & Billy Moore; grandparents, Joe & Hazel Jones; an Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Tite (James), & Uncle Ray Jones.

Darren received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District where he was great at mathematics. He spent years making people laugh and being the life of the party.  One of his enjoyments was listening to rap music.  No matter what obstacles life threw his way, he found joy and comedy in it all.  His contagious laughter will be remembered. He loved being a great protector and empowering those around him.  Darren had a tough outer shell but a heart full of love.   We knew him by several names like Dee, Deuce, D.J., Uncle D and because of his fierce side, we even called him Scrappy Doo.  He would not back down from anything and was always up for a challenge if it meant protecting someone he loved.

His presence will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish these fond memories:  his daughter, Darrenea Jones; sons Stephon Henry & Divonne Jones; sister Teresa Ann Jones (Gary); uncle Jimmy Lee Jones; Aunt Jean Cook (Terry); special bonds   with   his   nephews, Anthony Jones, Antuan Jones, Adrian Jones, Andre Jones & Anthony Hardin.

His extended family included the Hardins, the Fords and the entire Spruce neighborhood.   He loved kids and had a close relationship with Draion & Autumn Jones.
