Dennis K. Barnett, Jr. "Denny Boo", was born October 16, 1985, to Dennis K. Barnett Sr. and Joycie Renee Barnett, in Kansas City, Missouri.

He attended school in Kansas City, Missouri.  Dennis at tended Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorage of the late Rev. Wallace S. Hartsfield, Sr.

Dennis was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin & friend, to all he encountered. He loved to draw, and he loved his music.  He would make you laugh with his dry jokes, Lol.  One thing we all know for sure is that he loved his children!  He was very protective of his family. He had a damn good heart.  He will truly be missed.

On Sunday, July 5, 2020, God ordered steps for Dennis K. Barnett, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: father, Dennis K. Barnett Sr., of the home; mother, Joycie Renee Barnett; son, Desean Markeith Barnett, both of KCMO; daughter, Island Dream Davis, Lee's Summit, MO; sister, Lashanda M. Trammel, Raytown, MO; brother, Mark A. Trammel, KCMO; niece, Hazel Leenae'-Marie Davis, Raytown, MO; uncle, Earl (Sherri) Trammel Sr., Gardner, KS; cous ins, Brittany Miller & Dominic Miller, Grandview, MO; Ellis Miller (Delisha), KCMO; Earl Trammel Jr., Gardner, KS; as well as a host of other extended cousins, relatives, friends, and neighbors all remembering him with love.

Services for Mr. Barnett will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 17, 2020, at E.S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition.  Visitation 9:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
