Dennis Michael Harris was born June 19, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri. The first born to the union of Delton Harris and Ida Bacon Harris. Both preceded him in death.

Dennis attended R.J. Delano and Manual High School. He attended Manual VoTech in Kansas City, Missouri, where he learned how to work on and repair small electronics. He went on to work at Western Electric in Overland Park, KS.

As a young adult, Dennis was baptized. He later attended Sheffield Family Life Center. In his spare time, Dennis enjoyed going fishing, repairing tools, miscellaneous gadgets and helping friends and family.

Dennis Michael Harris departed this earthly life on Monday, February 22, 2021, in Kansas City, Missouri.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Della Harris; niece, Jacquetta Charles; great-niece Desanè Charles and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Harris will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
