Dennis Tyrone Hart , 66, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on February 20, 2025, at Kansas City Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born August 31, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the union of Gentry Hart, Sr. and Naomi Hart Jones.

He was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, father, Gentry Hart, Sr.; stepfather, Kenneth Jones; brother Paris Hart, and nephew, Milan Hart.

He attended grade and middle school in Kansas City, Missouri, and later obtained his GED.

Dennis married Linda Davis Hart in 1986. This union was later dissolved and no children were born.

He had a great sense of humor and loved his family. He also enjoyed listening to Old School R&B music, playing dominos, and sharing family stories.

He accepted Christ and was baptized at Westminster Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He later became a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri, under the leadership of Pastor James A. Terrance.

Dennis left to cherish his memory: his mother, Naomi Jones; brothers, Gentry Hart, Jr., Michael Jones, and Kenneth (Kelly) Jones; sisters, Wanda Hart, Belinda Smith, and Marva Hart; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and a very special cousin, Lisa Hart; and a special longtime friend, Anita Neely.
