Dennis Riley was born January 17th, 1964 to Richard and Myrna Towson - Riley in Bronx, New York. Raised with Derrick Riley and Wende' Seals.

Dennis entered into the military at the age of 18 and provided service for a short time. After this time his father encouraged him to complete his education and attend college. Being so, Dennis received his Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Sociology at Tyler College in Tyler, Texas. While attending college, Dennis played on the college basketball team as well, earning numerous awards.

After graduation Dennis entered into the teaching field as a English teacher and aided those in his community. After, Dennis entered into the healthcare field, becoming the director of social services. A lifelong care advocate, Dennis' work revolved around nurturing those with mental and physical disabilities.

Dennis gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of the Greater Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Rhonda Riley (sister) preceded him in death on March 17th, 1963 and Richard Riley (father) preceded him in death on December 24th, 1988. Dennis passed peacefully on October 5th, 2020 and is survived by his son Chance Love and daughters Olivia Riley, and Alysyn Hernandez, and many loving family members and friends.

Services for Mr. Riley will be held 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at E. S. Eley and Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00A.M. service time Tuesday at the chapel.
