Mr. DeOndre Rasean "Sean" Ashley was born on July 8, 1985. From the very beginning, he was a beautiful baby boy who grew into a loving, protective, and kind-hearted man. Sean had a heart for people — he would help anyone and was deeply loved by his family and all who knew him.

Sean attended the Kansas City, Missouri School District and later pursued engineering at ITT Technical Institute. He was intelligent, driven, and full of life. Known for his great personality, unforgettable sense of humor, Sean had a way of making people laugh until they cried. His smile lit up every room, and he truly shined like a star.

He was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Sean was baptized by the late Charles Briscoe of Paseo Baptist Church, grounding his life in faith. As Railyn's firstborn and only son, he held a special place in his mother's heart. Their bond was undeniable — she was his biggest supporter and cheerleader.

Sean leaves to cherish his loving memory his beloved sons, DeOndre Ashley Jr., Sameer Ashley, Delsean Ashley, and Dresean Ashley; his mother, Stephana Simmons; his father, Ernest Wayne Threets; his sisters, Lyn Ashley, Letangdra Haggins, Christionna Britton, and Allynn Andrews; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Sean touched many lives and helped everyone he loved . He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, laughter, strength, and light.
