De'Ron Cortez Ross-Walker died on Monday, March 28, 2019. He was the oldest of twin boys born May 6, 1989, to Sherron Kae Ross-Jones and Eugene Walker of Kansas City, MO. His mother preceded him in death on October 10, 2018.

He gave his life to Christ and became a member of Gregg Tabernacle African Methodist Episcopal Church. De'Ron attended the Kansas City Missouri Public School District and Grandview School District. He loved detailing cars and was an entrepreneur in selling clothes. He was known for volunteering in cutting hair for the homeless. His former employment in the past was a local restaurants.

De'Ron had a kind heart and loved his family. His smile lite up a room. He was known as a "Master Griller". His dream was to become a local rap artist; he recorded a few songs. Unfortunately his life was ended abruptly by gun violence. Along with utilizing his gifts and skills in cooking and singing, he would help with the renovations and projects at the church.

He leaves to mourn his passing: his father, Eugene (Melinda) Walker; four children, DeShaye Ross, Deon Ross, Kalaya Ross and Destiny Ross; four siblings, Willie Ross, Le'Ron Ross-Walker, Alyessa Walker, stepbrother, James Hunter and Ta'Shandra Walker; five uncles, Michael K. Ross, bill Fugate, Mister Fugate, Aaron Fugate and Slim; four aunts, Rev. Dr. Eraina (Patrick) Aseme, Dee, Nita Fugate and Angie Fugate; cousins, Candace (Roderick), Cassandra (Steven) Smith, Pamela (Samuel, II), Tyrell Ray and Dayna Aseme and a host of relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Ross-Walker will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 29, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
