Donald Darnell "Don Juan" Hunter was born in Kansas City, Missouri December 20, 1980, to the union of Donald Milligan and Barbara J. Hunter.  He was the youngest of seven children.  Donald was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julia Ann and Fred Nixon; both parents and a brother, Anthony Hunter.

Donald received his early education in the Kansas City, Missouri Public School District.  Upon graduation from high school, he started working as a trade welder.  He eventually moved his employment to being a security officer at Black and Decker.

Donald accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.

Donald was affectionately known by his generosity, his kindness and caring heart.  He was known to tell his family how much he loved them.  He was the life of every party.  He was notorious for making jokes.  He always uplifted everyone's mood.  He could have you laughing with tears within five minutes after entering a room.  He made friends with anyone and was loved by everyone who knew him.  He was confident and very sure of himself.  He was very protective of his family.  His heart was "light as a feather".

Donald departed time and entered into eternity on Sunday, June 7, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Ryan Hunter; one daughter, Donyelle Hunter; two young ladies whom he raised as his own daughters, Breanna Burriss and Morgan Burriss; two sisters, Nikko Maples (Lonale) and LaShon Hunter; three brothers, James Hunter, Jr., Reginald Hunter, and Ladell Hunter; four step brothers, Donald Milligan, Jr., Eric Milligan, Adrian Milligan, Keion Hollis; three step sisters, Dalonda White, Octavia Hollis, Mia McDaniel-Clark; three nieces, Tiara Hunter, Nachelle Maples, Tiana Hunter; two nephews, Marcus Hunter, Lonale Maples, Jr. and a host of great-nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Hunter will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Eley & Sons Chapel.  Burial Brooking Cemetery.  Visitation 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
