Donald Mitchell Harris was born April 30, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, the second of three children born to the union of Delton Harris and Ida Bacon Harris.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Donald "Mitchell" graduated in 1976, from Manuel High School in Kansas City, MO.   He attended Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg, MO before attending and graduating from the Kansas City Fire Academy in 1978.  He retired from the Kansas City Missouri Fire Department after twenty plus years of service.

Mitchell married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Bravo Harris.  To this union one daughter, Jacquetta Harris was born.

Donald Mitchell Harris departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in Kansas City, Missouri.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Jacquetta Harris Charles; granddaughter, Desane' Charles; brother, Dennis Harris; sister, Della Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Harris will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Sheffield Family Life Center.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the center.
