Edith Elaine Weehunt was born on January 15, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the union of Kenneth Edward Allison and Joyce Morris. She was the second child born out of four children.  She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Diane Babette Allison.

Edith was affectionately called by her middle name, Elaine .

After her birth, her parents moved her to Kansas City.  She received her education from the Kansas City, Missouri School District.  She was a 1975 graduate of Northeast High School.  After high school, she attended and graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City. She earned a degree in Accountancy.

Once Elaine graduated from college, she worked for Mobile Oil. She, later, worked for DST Systems as an Investment Accountant for 17 years.

Elaine had a love for sewing and watching the Hallmark Channel.  She loved eating at Arthur Bryant's BBQ.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Elaine loved to travel.

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Bethany Brown (Martin); sister, Kathy Spzak; brother, John Allison (Sharon); grandson, Kenneth Brown; granddaughter, Hannah Brown; one great granddaughter, Mikki Lindley; brother-in-law, Tony Spzak; and a host of other family members and friends.
