Edward Lee Jackson was born April 16, 1961, to Louis and Willetta Jackson, both of whom preceded him in death.  One sister, Shirley J. Brown and two brothers, Louis Edward Jackson and Maurice Jackson also preceded him in death.

Edward accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.  He received his education in the Kansas City Missouri School District, graduating from Central High School in 1980.  He was a long time employee of Children's Mercy Hospital until his health failed.

He had one child, Jason, who just happened to be born on his birthday.

Edward was a very caring, loving and all around guy.  He enjoyed listening to music, watching sports and being with family.

He leaves his legacy of love to: his son, Jason Fields of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Elonda McCallop and Stephanie Hart; brother, Cortez Jackson all of Kansas City, MO and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

s for Mr. Jackson will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Brooking Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
